Does Ashtar and the other Space Brothers have a secret agenda? “Exploring the Bizarre” (KCORradio.com) hosts Tim Beckley and Tim Swartz welcomes teacher, writer and historian, Aaron Gulyas to discuss the wild, often wacky world, of the UFO contactees. Since 2017, our guest has hosted “The Saucer Life,” a podcast which explores the history, lore, and culture of flying saucer belief.
Since the 1950s, men and women around the world have claimed to have had contact with human-like visitors from space. Aaron explores how the "contactee" subculture has critiqued political, social and cultural trends in the United States, Europe and elsewhere. Not merely quaint relics of the 1950s Atomic Age, contactees have continued their messages of transformation into the 21st century. Regardless of whether these alleged contacts took the form of physical meetings or channeled paranormal psychic communications, or whether they actually happened at all, contactees have provided a consistently relevant source of commentary on this world and beyond. In addition to his podcast, Aaron is the author of several books, including “Extraterrestrials and the American Zeitgeist: Alien Contact Tales Since the 1950s.”

AMAZING SECRETS OF MISSISSIPPI’S ALIEN KIDNAPPERS
In a show where many hush, hush secrets are revealed, “Exploring the Bizarre,” (KCORradio, com) hosts Tim Beckley and Tim Swartz welcomes CALVIN PARKER who is one of the world’s most famous abductees.
On October, 11th, 1973, Calvin and Charles Hickson set off to do some fishing at an abandoned shipyard called Shaw Peters on the west bank of the Pascagoula River. As the two men fished, a "football" shaped UFO with blinding lights swooped down out of the night sky and landed nearby.
What happened next turned the two men into media sensations, and their case went on to become one of the most high-profile UFO stories in American history. Parker says that he is still grappling with an encounter that turned his life upside down.
"This is something I really didn't want to happen," he said.
Parker married later in 1973 and eventually took oil industry and out-of-state construction jobs to escape the attention. Parker attended some UFO conventions, and was once hypnotized by Budd Hopkins. He briefly tried to capitalize on his story in 1993 by starting a Louisiana company called "UFO Investigations" where he and partners would produce television segments on the subject.
Parker said he's had conflicting thoughts over the years about that night in 1973. That is why he decided to write his books, Pascagoula - "The Closets Encounter," and "Pascagoula - The Story Continues: New Evidence & New Witnesses." For friends, family and others interested in his side of the story, these books should be enlightening. However, Parker said there are some questions that may never be answered. His two “tell all” books are, “Pascagoula-The Closest Encounter.” and “Pascagoula – The Story Continues.”
UFO , TIME TRAVEL AND ALIEN SECRETS AT WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE
In a show where many hush, hush secrets are revealed, “Exploring the Bizarre,” (KCORradio, com) hosts Tim Beckley and Tim Swartz welcomes RICH HOFFMAN who for the past 56 years, since his eighth grade science class and timed with the Lonnie Zamora sighting on 24 April 1964, has been pursuing his primary interest in investigating, researching and lecturing on the subject of UFOs. He even had the opportunity to lecture to the Air Force on the subject UFOs at Wright Patterson, AFB, where he has established some communications links with officials there.
Rich Hoffman is a 25+ year Army Information Technology (IT) defense contractor with By Light IT Professional Services. He is a Senior Lead Architect working in the US Army Materiel Command Head Quarters at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama helping to shape the future directions of systems, networks and application hosting arrangements used within the Army. In June 2017, Rich left his position as MUFON Director, Strategic Projects, and Alabama State Director along with other positions within MUFON. He is still a Benefactor and as such is a lifetime subscribing only member. Currently, he is supporting a newly formed group called the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU), a coalition of like-minded serious and dedicated scientists and professionals who want to solve the phenomena using scientific methodologies and leverage current technologies to do so.
He is also a member of a team of scientists and engineers working in UFOData, a project within CUFOS. This project seeks to develop a mobile technology platform into hotspot areas that would serve to collect critical data via cameras, sensors, tracking equipment and much more. Rich passes along information not generally know before -- one of the reasons we are considered the "benchmark program" in the field.
